Values at the Crossroads of Love

Celebration  (Ephesians 2:19-22)
We know what it is like to live separated from God. Because we are forgiven through Jesus Christ we are able to see our sin for what it is. We know that we are a people that deserve to be eternally separated from God. We who were once lost are now found through Jesus Christ. We believe in the absolute celebration that God refused to leave us abandoned in the world but came into the world to free us from the penalty of our sin and has invited us into the best possible way to live.

Transformation (2 Cor. 2:17)
We believe that love is defined for us by God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through this love God transforms our brokenness into wholeness. For us, love is not only about a feeling; love is mostly about commitment; love is a decision that we make to practice whether we feel like loving or not. We are committed to practicing the kind of sacrificial love that Jesus demonstrated for us when He went to the cross in our place that we might be invited into His life. Through this love we are transformed into a new creation and invited into a new way of living, a life that we believe is the best possible way to live.
